Miel Shaken Espresso

cinnamon and honey shaken espresso

This dreamy shaken espresso layered with floral honey and warming cinnamon makes for the perfect start to the day.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 shots of your favorite espresso

  • 1/4 cup milk of choice

  • more honey and cinnamon for garnishing

Method:

  1. Pour 2 shots of espresso over honey and cinnamon in a mug. Stir well.

  2. Pour into cocktail shaker with ice and shake for around 10 seconds (or until shaker is frosty).

  3. Pour shaken espresso into a glass filled with ice and top off with about a 1/4 cup of milk.

  4. Optional (but fun) you can rim your glass with a drizzle of extra honey and sprinkle on a little bit more cinnamon. Enjoy!
